Noura Ramah Emirati Mix media Artist, was born and lives in Abu Dhabi, UAE. She has studied Visual Arts (Video and photography) and received her BA from Zayed University Abu Dhabi. She studied several types of visual arts, such as Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Print Making, Radio, Video Production and Photography. She works as a Film director and editor at her brother’s personal owned TV production company.
Noura Ramah’s artwork open’s up new way of exploring her surrounding environment in a different point of view. In her work she illustrates her personal opposing feelings. Referring to the Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, describing how seemingly or opposing forces are connected yet interdependent of the natural world. These dualities may include light and dark, happiness and sadness to name a few. One rarely exists without the other, and she thinks that it’s important to have both to live our lives and to keep it harmonious.
From 2004 to the present, Noura has collaborated with some important artists and different people who are interested on Arts, regionally and internationally. She has contracted with and supported by the Royal Family of Abu Dhabi, Swiss Ambassador, Gout German Institute, Susan Hafouna (German artist) and many others.
Noura has exhibited broadly and her work is included in several public and private national and international collections.
